Chris, founder of Rounded Peak Studios — Chris in Kyrgyzstan. The peaks here are a bit sharper than the ones we're named after.

Rounded Peak Studios is the work of Chris - an iOS engineer by trade and the one-person team behind the studio. After years of shipping software for other people, he started noticing the small gaps where the apps he wanted didn't quite exist. This studio is where he fills those gaps.

The name comes from the karst mountains in Guilin, China - soft, rounded peaks that rise out of the river like nothing else in the world. They've stuck with him ever since he saw them, and the apps here aim for the same qualities: simple, lasting, worth coming back to.

Every app here is one Chris uses himself. If it doesn't solve a problem he actually has, it doesn't get made. The goal isn't to ship a hundred apps, it's to ship a handful that need to exist.
